Discovery Channel is airing fake documentaries on Shark Week. Number 1) A feature length documentary claiming a 100ft Megalodon was roaming the oceans and that it killed 4 people off the coast of South Africa. With a fake scientist and a fake research institute. 73 % of viewers thought it was real and the Megalodon story was the highest rated show in Shark Week history. Since the show was so popular they did a follow up program claiming to have more and new evidence. Number 2) A feature length documentary called Shark Of Darkness about a non existent 35ft Great White Shark. They claimed that the attacks were filmed on camera as a boat sank into the ocean. This documentary also had a fake scientist and a fake research institute. A promo on the Discovery Channel network hoaxed viewers by claiming there was a shark in Lake Ontario in Canada. Discovery channel had to admit it was a fake because Canadian officials were getting concerned. The worst thing is that the viewers actually want a true and honest story. The BBC series Life got 11.8million viewers but the Megalodon story only got 4.8million views. Please watch this video and share with your family and friends.
