Do 3...Good Morning...with a positive attitude #pouringintoyou...Do 3. As we begin the new year with the new me, doing things differently, starting with the spiritual being is important. If there is no change in heart, soul and mind the battle is already lost. Lip service makes no change without putting a strong mindset to it. There are some things that must be purposed to change life. Once you have declared Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life tell somebody about the life change you have made. The excitement of your new life should be evident in the way you walk, talk and do things. Dont be as I was, looking for physical changes in a name change, new hands and new feet. (Lol) There should be a bounce in your step, a new conversation, new friends, new places and so on. It is important that you find a strong Bible teaching church to attend for worship, study and prayer. Bible study and other teaching sessions are a must to understand the worship process. It is important to attend worship to have like minds coming together on one accord expressing to God that He alone is our God, Lord, Savior, Shepherd, Provider...our Everything. Self is denied and God alone is in control. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Matthew 16:24 KJV) You are now part of the assembly once going through the proper procedures required by that group. Your salvation should already be in tact. You now being a part of the congregation is a constant reminder that the congregation is not perfect. It is a group of people who came to Jesus with their mess ups, flaws and imperfections. They are human as you are. They make mistakes even after being in the church fifty years. Remember, as long as you are in the church there is no perfect church. We must give others these same understandings. There is no perfect congregation. Find the one that is best for you. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25 KJV) In following the example of Jesus, get baptized in The Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Symbolically, washing the sins of the old man away becoming a new man in the body of Christ, is an outward expression of a spiritual experience. It symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, who defeated death, burial and the grave. It initiates you into the Family of Christ. Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, (Luke 3:21 KJV) I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. (Mark 1:8 KJV) I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. (Mark 1:8 KJV) I pray that this continues to help your year be better than in the past. Gods will, I will continue and finish the New Babes in Christ process. It is important that they are not overwhelmed in the process. All thanks be to God for those who a getting a better understanding of what the salvation process is.
