Do you have moments of repetitive synchroncity????? I do. I walked into my local supermarket tonight and bought a paperback that could have been me. I dont want to go into my life story, but one of my life goals before I die is to walk the UK coastline from John OGroats to Lands End for no other reason except that I want to. I know it would be hard, but my instinct is that it is something that is calling to my wild side. I havent already done it, because I have daughters and I am a mother. But 2015 feels different. Special... IF...I do attempt this sometime during my 50s decade...it isnt for anything other than I WANTED to do it. I wont be chasing you to buy my book...read my blog....endorse me...give me praise...or need your money in any way whatsoever. I am 51 now...my mum died aged 62...I have a strong sense this year that my 50s are my Mortality Decade...do what I NEED to do before I die. Walking is my thing..municating is my thing...adventure excites me...the unknown gets my adrenaline going...am I escaping the kids??? Hell, yes!!!! Jeez...I will be six foot under before they get their lives sorted(!) How many parents out there KNOW what I mean? Well...I will read Wild by Cheryl Strayed (sorry Aldous, some other time maybe?) and fingers-crossed, it is a good omen :) Blimey(!) Now Ive got to buy a tent.....
