Do you use your game camera to scout the which buck is a huntable buck? During the 2012 QDMA convention, Dr. Grant Woods gave a seminar about using your game camera to decide if a bucks was a huntable buck using your game camera. Every buck has its own habitats. Some are nocturnal and some are not. This is documented buck who stayed on the property from April to Nov and was active during daylight hours but was only seen once during bow season. This buck started out as 12 pointer and was dominate buck on property, broke off two tines. His live weight was 165 lbs. His jaw bone shows he was 2 1/2 years old and his front teeth tested by lab also showed he was 2 1/2 years old. This photos shows how is body changes as the season changes. If you have never sent front teeth in for lab work it only cost 50 dollars for 6 deer and will give you information you may never know.
