Does Putins perception that Obama is weak embolden him? Is he that foolish to think this country who Put-in our own presidents so we could make war in mineral/petroleum-rich countries think Obama is his key to doing whatever he wants? Putin has tasted the success of the West, and seen his own nation struggle economically. Do you think his warsip docked in Cuba is just there for a tropical vacation just as he is lining up troops along the border of the Ukraine? Look at history: Stalin was intimidated by the nationalistic zeal of the Ukraine and did what he wanted. Russias history has been always determined by their access to warm-water ports because they are a land-locked country by and large. So you think the Crimea will be good enough for Putin? Hes obviously tipped his hand to too many people who cant keep a secret. It is important that we dont make an ego-driven man feel too embarassed or he might just pull a trigger well all regret.
