Does anyone roast chickpeas? Low in fat and calories, good source - TopicsExpress

Does anyone roast chickpeas? Low in fat and calories, good source of fiber, good amount of protein, and they totally satisfy my snacky urge. I have tried NINE CANS of garbanzo beans and cannot get my bake time right! Theyre a little squishy one minute and burnt to a crisp the next. I want them crunchy like The Good Beans, but I want to control what seasonings/ingredients go on them. The taste has been on point, so far - but the crispiness is eluding me. Ive made dill and ranch, chili pepper and cayenne, garlic and Mrs. Dash, and garlic parmesan. Ive peeled them (ok, there is an HOUR of my life Ill never get back!), Ive let them sit in the fridge overnight, Ive baked them low & slow, Ive changed the temp midway through baking... Im obsessed & these stupid things are becoming the bane of my existence!
