➤➤➤➤➤▲▲▲▲ Does the Bible Forbid ORNAMENT WEARING? ▼▼▼▼➤➤➤➤➤ Its soo sorrowful that there are still some christian who call themselves as belonging to New Testament Pattern Assemblies,yet FORBID other fellow Christians who are saved by the same name Lord Jesus Christ, from Baptism,Lords Table,Fellowship,Other Church activities because of the One and Only reason that they WEAR ORNAMENTS!! Its most sorrowful for me for that I see this most in my own place itself, Kerala!! (India) Why these blind Christians unknowingly oppose the Major doctrines of Christianity and Forbid their fellow Brothers and Sisters from all of the above!!?? It is because legalism is one of the most universal errors of many Christian Chruches, and has been since the First Century church when Jewish believers were requiring Gentile converts to be circumcised. Legalism is based upon pride and self-righteousness and has such an immense pull upon our egos, but it is also one of the most harmful and deadly traps that is doing severe injury to churches and Christians all over the world. So many have been cast aside not because they violated one of the major tenets of the faith, but because they are in some way different- whether in style of dress, origin, or whatever the case. We need to thank God that He is not a legalist! Below are most misinterpreted Bible(NT) Verses mentioning about wearing Ornaments ☑☑☑☑✪✪✪✪✪✪✪ True Interpretation of 1 Tim. 2:9,10 and 1 Peter 3:1-6 ✪✪✪✪✪✪✪☑☑☑☑ Neither passage forbids adornment! They both instruct women to be people of beauty on the inside, and to focus on that more than their outward appearance. But when you misinterpret this with poor hermeneutics to say that women should NOT wear jewelry, then you must also believe they should not brush their hair or wear clothes! Obviously that is not what these passages are teaching. If you had a Godly Christian mother who is now in heaven, what do you remember most about her? I dont think of her makeup, although she wore it; I dont think of her clothes, although she wore them! I think of her love and devotion to God and her family! That is what these passages are teaching: Being well dressed and beautiful does not make you a beautiful person: The Holy Spirit who adorns you makes you beautiful. These verses simply say that while people can get caught up on their physical attributes, our focus must be on what we are on the inside, because that is what truly makes you beautiful! That is ALL these passages are teaching. The clothes do not make the person, although there is certainly nothing wrong with wearing them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally Let me remind this Bible Passage also 1 Timothy 6 6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
