Don had a good night, although he is getting a bad case of cabin fever. The nerve pain seems to be easing at least this morning. I am doubly relieved, as I am getting empathetic pains and the chest incision is all I want to deal with! He is in a good mood, and I have gone without a fever for 24 hours, so I will be there today, at least for a bit. Trying to line up what the next step might be. It appears that he may be coming home soon. I will be disappointed if, between Medicare and our secondary policy, they try to avoid paying for inpatient active rehab, but Don feels confident that he can rehab by himself, and is certainly going strong already!~
