Police are continuing investigations into the deaths of two men whose bodies were discovered in a Bridgewater residence on the evening of 26 November 2014. Police and Tasmania Ambulance Service had been called to the Cowle Road residence just after 7pm. Two men were located deceased; one man had apparent gunshot wounds and the other with what appeared to be knife wounds. The investigation is at a very early stage, however preliminary scene examinations, along with investigations to date, indicate the two men were known to each other and some form of confrontation has occurred between them inside the house, which has then evolved into a fatal incident. Forensic specialists, will continue with their scene examinations during daylight hours, and a number of follow up enquires will be conducted by detectives to determine what has occurred.
