Down by the river. At the end of a summers day, well, late in the afternoon really, well head down to the lap pool - the stretch of the Pappinbarra River that we get to call ours. Today weve been prepping and sowing beds for rocket, butter beans and lettuce - fairly hot and dusty work out in the sun. Right now the rivers looking pretty good and welcoming. The recent rainfall means its flowing again (yeah) and its had a good flush too. Max the water dog comes along, and a cold beer or two always makes the walk back up to the house seem shorter and flatter.
