EVENTS: 1840; Major Outram informs Charles Napier that Mir Muhammad Hussain has collected about 7,000 men at Khura, and that they intend to fight agaist Mir Ali Murad Khan after 10th of Muharram or 10th of February; all the chiefs of Balochis have promised him to join him on the occasion. Banias (Hindus) of Sukkur got information from their Hyderabad agents that that Amirs of that place have privately agreed to Mir Muhammad Hussain and Amirs of Khairpur, if the Mirs of Khairpur will not be the friends of the British Government, the Mirs of Hyderabad will never be friends of the British Government. 1923: A public meeting is held at Sukkur by the District Jamiat-ul-Ulema. Moulana Din Muhammad Wafai and Moulana Ahmad Ali Lahori speak on the occasion. This function ended with passing two resolutions on asking Muslims to follow Islam in letter and spirit and advising Religious Scholars to take part in freedom Movement . 1924: Sindh Ladies Association is formed at Sukkur. The initiate remained burning topic for so many time. 1931: The branch of Sindh Azad Party is established at Chhatan Shah of sakrand and Moulvi Shafi Muhammad (President), Moulvi Muhammad Paryal (Secretary) and Mian Muhammad Hussain (Treasurer) are elected as its founder office – bearers. 1955: Commonwealth Prime Minister’s Conference of London records support for Turko-Pak and Turko-Iran Defense Arragements , as a basis for the proposed security network for the Middle East. 1969: Anti – Ayub Movement is taking more support of the people. Unrest prevails every where. President Ayub addresses Nation and promises for talks on bringing changes in constitution. 1970: Manifesto of the Sindh United Party will be drafted very soon. The Party constitutes committee for this purpose. It consists of K.B.Khuhro, Shaikh Abdul Majeed Sindhi, Pir Ali Muhammad Shah, Syed Ghulam Hyder Shah, Abdul Sattar Pirzado and Agha Abdul Nabi Pathan. 1971: Indian Government refuses to accept demands of hijackers. 28 passengers of Indian Airline along with 4 crew are transported to India by road. 1973: Governor Bizinjo of Balochistan says that no request was made to send army units to his province. 1986: Asghar Khan opposes MRD and hails decision about registration of political parties. 1988: Pakistan and U.S.A views on Afghanistan are identical, says American Ambassador A.L.Raphel in Lahore. 1990: Hyderabad death toll rises to 14 despite curfew. 1991: Anti USA rallies, protests in all major cities and town condemn USA on its action and presence in Gulf.
