Drew the short straw to play tonight lost in a toss up of 3 of us ,still really enjoyed watching and supporting the team as we won through t o the last 8 by 12 chalks against the top team in the lge at the moment ,and as the handicap goes we at Alsager were off 1 and Victoria off 3. so a hard game it was to be ,after the first 4 we were 12 behinf but the 5th game gave us the advantage as geoff bolton really took to the green well to be ian ibotson 5 and then we had tony chesters winning and mark ball beating robert eaton after being well behind . Our captain did well to come back from the dead to get 18 and john malpas pulled it out to win after having no luck in the begining ,yes to cap it all a very good match so onwards we go and with the teams left in due to the handicapping system there is only us out of the first division left so we probably have to give up to 80 away in a match over 8 players .we popped into a pub at hasslington called the hawk so have put a few pics in as well now have a look at the pics, bu courtesy of westysworld of media coverage.
