Due to inclement weather in Atlanta the Huey and Cobra Rides being hosted by the Hixson Flight Museum will be delayed. Weather permitting April 19th rides will begin at 1:00 pm. If the weather does not cooperate rides will be Sunday April 20th starting at 1:00pm. The rides will take place at the Hixson airport (Dallas Bay Skypark) 1824 E Crabtree Rd. Hixson. The Museum of Flight provides tours and gives airplane rides in the vintage aircraft that are located in the Hixson facility. The mission of the Museum is to increase the public’s awareness of aviation through the flight of historic aircraft while supporting the local children’s hospital.
