During the Florida State Elks Associations 108th State Convention this past weekend, our very own Dan E. Tabor was elected and installed as our 2014-2015 Florida State Elks Association President. Congratulations to Dan E. Tabor and his lovely wife Rachel! Also from Bradenton Lodge #1511, Robert Erwin was installed as our 2014-2015 Florida State Elks Association Tiler. Congratulations Bob! The Bradenton #1511 Ritual Team performed in the State Ritual Contest and placed 4th in the competition. The following are the individual awards Performing as: Exalted Ruler, Jack Cantwell - All State Leading Knight, Michael Carter - All State & Jolly Cork Loyal Knight, Liz Andricks - All State Lecturing Knight, Hank Lustgarten - 4th Place Esquire, Susan Erwin - 2nd Place Chaplain, Janet Mitchell - All State Inner Guard, Gene Mackie - 4th Place Candidate, Matt Carter - All State The Jolly Cork is awarded to the person with the highest overall score in the competition. This is the 3rd consecutive year that Michael Carter has received this award. Bradenton #1511 also recieved 3rd Place in the Free Standing Website Contest. Congratulations on the installations, achievements and awards received during this years convention!
