ELKHART COUNTY YOUNG DEMOCRATS MEETING (Elkhart, April 6, 2014)—Are you looking to get involved with politics on the local level – or simply want to learn more about progressive politics as an engine for change in our community? If you live or work in Elkhart County 18-39 years of age then you are invited to attend the Elkhart County Chapter of the Indiana Young Democrats monthly meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., April 9, 2014 in the lecture room at the Teamsters’ Hall Local #364, 23383 US 33 Dunlap, IN . The Elkhart County Young Democrats connect and build community through monthly membership meetings, happy hours, campaign events, fundraisers and committee meetings. During election season, club members can be active with a number of campaigns by volunteering to walk precincts, phone bank and fund raise for candidates and issues they care about. Throughout the year, club members can regularly give back to the Elkhart County area through frequent community service opportunities. The Elkhart County Young Democrats looks to become involved in the Elkhart County political community and partner with other Democratic clubs, Democratic public officials and candidates, and community leaders and organizations.
