EXCITEMENT IS MOUNTING BY THE DAY & BY THE HOUR!! - “Strength Training for the Woman of God” is the 5th Annual New Hope Presbyterian Women’s Fall Retreat, September 20 – 22 at South Seas Resort on Captiva Island, Florida. How exciting is this for next weekend. Can hardly wait – sharing a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite with 3 of my dear friends & all amenities of this 5 star resort are free of charge & 4 meals include! The weekend will be a “WONDERFUL GOD EXPERIENCE” with around 100 women from our church. Sunday morning church will be missing a lot of women. Shari Minke is an inspirational speaker, bible teacher, author, dramatist and humorist. Her favorite thing to do is having the opportunity to share from her heart the difference Jesus has made in her life. God has transformed Shari from a shy, fear-filled person to a faith-filled servant. She is a speaker who encourages her audience to know that with God ALL things are possible! Her desire is to encourage others to never give up hope, to believe God has a future and a plan for each of us! Her messages bring the Bible to life and point to the One who gives us hope: Jesus! She will be giving 4 spiritual lessons; Friday nite, Saturday morn, Saturday nite, & Sunday morn. Shari and her husband, Tom, live in Novi, Michigan. They have four grown children and six grandchildren. Some of her interests include: reading, baking, working at a kids’ camp for foster children, laughing, and having meaningful time with family and friends. She has a passion for encouraging others into a deeper walk with Jesus Christ.
