EYES OF FAITH Poem by Reinhard Bonnke 1. Jesus suffering at Calvary, His followers on the run God had to use a criminal to justify His Son. “He’s done nothing wrong”, he said, “not guilty”, was the clue. Christ, broken, hanging helpless there, something was shining through. 2. His glory never can be hid from eyes of faith, as this man’s did. “Remember me Lord” was his cry, and “YES, TODAY” was Christ’s reply. To see a kingdom and a king in Jesus - nailed down and stalked by hell, those eyes that can see paradise, such eyes I want as well. 3. Radar lights the natural realm, like daylight in the night, So fugitives may run real fast, yet have no place to hide. But faith is our infrared, pours light into our shades, to walk with Christ Invisible, to safely make the grades. 4. “We see Jesus”. It is Him. The one who should be dead, but isn’t. The sun of righteousness has risen, no more fumbling in dark schism. What we see is what He was and keeps on being, hear His call. It is Jesus Christ forever, He’s the summary of it all. I trust this poem of mine will be a blessing to you. Please share it. RB
