Each year at this time I leave a message for the graduating classes of MHS. This years has been so hard to word. This is the class that when I first went to work for the school, they were coming in as freshman. So ive grown with them as they grew into the young men and women they are today I already knew several just from growing up with Tyler along the way. This year tugs at my heart strings even more tighter than the previous years.. For the obvious, my son walks in this class. He has no idea the bittersweetness of today for me. I am so blessed to have been there all four years to watch him walk the halls of MHS and see him on a daily/hour to hour basis and I will so miss the visits to my office asking for passes, lunch money or to simply stop in to give his ol mom a hug from time to time. I cant forget the other slew of kids Ive been called mom by that will also walk across that stage tonight: Ryan Neal, Collin Rhodes, Jessica Scott, Casey McGuire, Keosha Rudd, Quashanta Watson, Y Tavia King,Xavier Maze..just to name a few(the list goes on and on). I truly believe I was put where I am there because God knew I needed yall far more than yall needed me. Thank you all for such wonderful memories. I wish each of you great success in life and all of the happiness your hearts can withstand. I pray that when you reflect back on your high school years that a smidgin of Ms. Jennifer crosses your mind and you remember the impact you had on my life and maybe in someway I had one on yours as well. Never ever give up on your dreams. As for my precious Tyler Robbins, I could not be any more proud of you nor could I have asked for a greater son! Youve got this!!! Now lets get ready to get that diploma!! HATS OFF TO THE MHS GRADUATING CLASS OF 2014!! LETS GO MAVS!!
