Early Education Services announces an exciting opportunity to our Join our Management Team as our Child Development Manager! As a member of the EES Management Team, our candidate will participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans, program procedures, annual assessments, budgets, program and training plan development, systems building /monitoring, and supervise key education staff. The Manager oversees the early childhood education programming for Head Start, Early Head Start and Parent-Child Center children and families, providing and/or accessing training when appropriate. The position is responsible for the development and monitoring of education curriculum, child development assessments, screenings and outcome measures, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Vermont Child Care Licensing regulations, Vermont STARS and NAEYC standards, oversight, monitoring and tracking disabilities and mental health services for children. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field with significant experience in the field, preferably with Head Start background. Must have strong comfort level and skills with computers and technology. Effective communication, supervision and organizational skills a must.
