“East Broad Top narrow gauge railroad scenes: 1954-1956 & 1960” will be the subject of a 16 mm movie, produced by railroad historian Frank Kyper, shown to Harrisburg Chapter National Railway Historical Society October 14 at Hoss’s Restaurant, 743 Wertzville Rd., Enola, PA. Business meeting and speaker begin at 7 pm, with a meal available as early as 5 pm. Dinner and meeting are open to the public. Kyper is the author a recently published book: Twilight and Dawn on the East Broad Top Railroad 1945-1965. For more than forty years, Frank Kyper has had successful careers as: passenger railroad worker; railroad historian (including authoring and co-authoring books, newsletter editorship, and penning magazine articles); public relations executive; and magazine editor.
