EastEnders adds last-minute flood scene EastEnders added a last-minute scene about the UKs flooding crisis into Friday nights (February 14) episode. The short scene saw Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright) speak about the weather conditions and its impact on the UK public. In the kitchen of the Queen Vic, Mick carried a copy of the Walford Gazette and joked that he might need to build an ark as the Thames is breaking our banks all over the gaf. When Linda suggested the floods wouldnt hit Albert Square, Mick said: Who knows? Some people have lost everything, bless em. After hurricane-force winds battered the UK on Wednesday (February 12), tens of thousands of homes in England and Wales are without power. England had the wettest January since records began in 1766 and its predicted this will also be the wettest winter overall on record.
