Either Yeb Sano is just following orders from Manila. Or unaware of other options available to the Philippines, a former U.S. Territory, never an American colony. If Mr. Sano is truly after what is best for his people since I dont know which Filipino nation he came from, he would seek Native American status or a Compact of Free Association or a special autonomous region like what is Hong Kong to China or outright revert back to being a U.S. territory. Politicians are the same everywhere. The worst types are those who prefer to REIGN IN HELL THAN TO SERVE IN HEAVEN”. There are many Third World politicians like this around the world and definitely in the Philippines. In Detroits case, the people should seek the federal government’s help to go after corrupt politicians.
