Ellis, I had a bitter experience when l got pregnant just after l completed J.H.S. After delivery my parents took the baby and l went back to school. I was never bothered with the responsibilities of a parent and so, my child grew up knowing me as a sister. My daughter has not for once called or referred to me as mother and it has remained like that since. Life became very successful and l am gainfully employed in Ho now whiles my parents live in Accra with my daughter. I realized anytime l am about to enter a relationship, and the guy gets to know l have a child, he then backs off. I got into a relationship about two years now without letting my fiancée know of my child. This is because l got to know born-ones do not attract him. Now we are about to marry and all plans are set with date. My worry is whether to let him know of my child or just keep it the way it is because I fear he knowing might just bring my marriage to a halt. Do I tell him or just let sleeping dogs lay?
