Endings are sad. Theyve always been sad. Thats why the story books end it with happily ever after & never explain what happens afterwards because more often than not, the magic will fade away. & Even if youre one of the lucky ones who had a special relationship lasts a lifetime.. Eventually someone will die & that will be the REAL ending of the story & of course it will be sad. So I stopped trying to look for the happy ending fairy tale & realized that so long as I have a happy beginning & a happy middle Im content. Because then when the ending finally does come, & it will inevitable come, at least I can look back at the beginning & remember how truly amazing it was & that will be enough for me to smile & I say, hey, it was fun while it lasted.
