Posted Position Title: Engineer 6 Career Level: Experienced Function: Manufacturing Function Segment: Manufacturing Engineering Location: Algeria U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: Boufarik Postal Code: Relocation Assistance: No Role Summary/Purpose: The Repair Engineer (PB) will be an entry level profile with mechanical technical background, He will be resident in Algesco Service Shop (Boufarik, Algiers). After a short deep dive training on GE products and components repair, he/she will be working in a repair engineers /qualification team, daily interacting with the Shop, always monitoring the technical aspects of the repair / qualification jobs and building technical reports Essential Responsibilities: Develop routers and repair instructions/procedures Create manufacturing / repair folders Coordinate and select repair methods. Improve worker safety and working conditions. Improve technical processes to improve quality. Implement controls to ensure the quality of repaired/manufactured products. Ensure the implementation corrective/curative actions related for repair process Contribute to the definition of planning by assisting planners on updating production schedules. Develop technical offers, technical reports and report progresses. Provide technical support (workshops and customers). Qualifications/Requirements: Mechanical engineer degree Experience in metallurgy, geometric controlExperience in a workshop (3 years) Good knowledge of EHS standards and quality Great ability in team working.
