Ephesians 4:28 KJV Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. ........................... The Apostle Paul paints a great picture for us in what happens to a person who truly has been changed by the Lord. The first picture is of the thief who takes from others to satisfy himself but then there is a change. The thief no longer steals but now labors not just to help himself but to give to others who are in need. This great change is part of the evidence of grace that has been applied to the heart of man. I guess the question to ask is this, is there any change in us? Is there any reversals from the old man? Is there any evidence of the new man? I hear a lot of people relate their faith to church attendance. I agree attending church is great and will help you and others but if that is our only change we have missed the boat. So look closely at the evidence in your life, true believers have truly been changed.
