Episode II Buddhism arrived to Siam( Thailand) at the time of Emperor Ashoke, the Great King of India about three hundred years after Lord Buddha passed away by Two monks, Sonna and Uttara. Some says they arrived through Pranburi, present a district in Prajuab Kirikan Province. They settled Buddhism at the capital of Dvaravadi Kingdom, presently locate at nearby Prapathomjedi, Nakornpathom Province but some says Present Uthong District, the capital of Dvaravadi Kingdom. Buddhism has been the state religion from more than 800 years ago in the reign of King Ramkamhaeng, the Great of Sukhothai Kingdom, the first capital of Thailand, passed through Ayudhaya Kingdom. Buddhism again clearly proclaimed to become a state religion about more than two hundred years ago by The two Great Kings, the two founder of two different capitals; King Tak Sin, the Great, the founder of Krung Dhonburi and King Somdej Phrabuddhayadfachulaloka, the Great, the founder of present Thai Capital, the world longest name; Krungdevamahanakorn amornrattanakosin mahindrayudhaya mahadilokbhava noparatrajdhani burirom udomrajniwesna mahasthan amornpiman avatarsthit sakkatattiyavisnukamprasit Actually, to occupy the land as anybody private property from the Land of Buddhism is not possible by the law. The land named Thailand was offered to Buddhism more than two hundred years ago and also Buddhism is declared to become state religion since that time. The land is inherited to Buddhism passed to many generation till present time. Thais have to realize that we are allowed by Buddhists to stay happily on the land of Buddhism. We cannot change or use the land of Buddhism(Thoraneesangkha) for our Adhamma (immoral) individual purposes. The real landlord of Thailand are Thai Buddhism, both Buddhist monks and Thai Buddhists. Therefore, it is not proper to abuse the intention of using for the benefit of mankind as Lord Buddha told his enlightenment monks to go to serve public, go for the benefit of mankind. Thailand becomes holy and sacred land due to it is the land of Buddhism. I would like to remind those who has bad intention, abuse of power to use all natural resources or use this land not for the benefit of mankind as Lord Buddha preached us. You may face mysterious sufferings, mysterious obstacles to destroy your successful and peaceful life. There are three kinds of the Land in Thai Buddhism: 1) Theewat 2) Thoraneesangkha 3) Theekalpana Theewat means the land where the temple locates. It is upto the fence of temple. Thoraneesangkha means many pieces of land. One temple may has many pieces of land in many places. Theekalpana means the lands or pieces of land which the owner offer profits from the land to Buddhism, the right still belong to the landlord. As I mentioned in the first episode, I become more senior citizen day by day. I saw my younger generation posted facebook against mourning ceremony for Sankharaja ( King of Thai monks). They doubted that why giving too much important to Sangkharajas Mourning Ceremony more than other religions in Thailand. Some of them are famous and hold the high position in Thai Society. They have many followers to misunderstand the ceremony. Many young scholars will follow their attitude. They dont know the root and origin of Thai Society and Thai Thoughts. I would like to mention that the state mourning for Sangkharaja is very necessary. It is to express gratitude for the King of Thai Buddhism, the real landlord of Thailand who let all of us stay happily in this land. Some said in the facebook that Thailand doesnot rule by Buddhist Law why arranged the state mourning ? I would like to reply them that although Thai law doesnot write down the Buddhist Law, Buddhist Dhamma ruling state since the beginning of our nation establishment in the first capital of Sukhathai Kingdom passed through every kingdom of our realm. Buddhist Dhamma become our private family property which inherited from generations to genrations. Buddhist Ceremonies are part of Thai ways of life together with Brahmanism - Hinduism since the establishment of our nation. This is for your information and consideration, sir.
