Etihad Airways to Create More Than 1,000 Jobs for Emirates . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced plans to create more than 1,000 jobs for Emiratis over the next three years with a new outsourcing centre in Al Ain. The centre will provide services including revenue accounting to Etihad, its partners such as Air Seychelles, and other airlines outside the Etihad empire. According to the local airways company, this center will be a global leader in revenue accounting, and offer a range of competitively priced services that will bring cost savings and operational efficiencies to airlines, including Etihad Airways. Furthermore, this plan will create a long-term economic value for the emirate of Abu Dhabi as it will gradually boost up the Emirati workforce. More than 500 Emiratis will be hired during the project’s first year of operation and exceeding 800 by the end of 2016 hopefully reaching 1,000 by the end of 2017; depending on the level of demand from participating airlines around the world. This plan can offer a very crucial opportunity for the flag carrier, where a direct boost in employment would significantly increase annual passenger traffic, and therefore, spur direct revenues. #egyptyard
