Europes top performers for February were whittled down to a three-man short list by our panel of experts -- Gab Marcotti, Sid Lowe, Raphael Honigstein, Andy Brassell, Michael Cox and John Brewin -- to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Karim Benzema and Daniel Sturridge. But it was Sturridge who topped the vote to be named the ESPN FC Player of the Month for February -- the England striker following in the footsteps of Liverpool teammate Luis Suarez, who won Januarys poll.
