Even though pologyny it is one of the highly recognized sunnahs to safeguard the women with the perspective of society, it is important to understand that in what circumstance it is allowed. There are many other sunnahs that are needed to be fulfilled, like, right of neighbours, rights of kin ship, so if a man or a woman lack in these important commandments and out of desire choose the sunnah convenient to hold their position, the balance is broken and this also may lead to problems. I personally feel without hurting his first wife the husband should be able to decide if it is really necessary to to get married the second time, in some cases it may be a need. I think no one should be forced to accept something just for the sake of bettering the society as long as the first wife, the husband and the one who is ok to be a second wife are ok with this decision , only then harmony between all 3 can prevail. It is also important to understand that it also could be advisabe for divorcee to get married to unmarried ( for both men and women) so that one is experienced over another but this is also not a necessasity, it all depends on ones preference and willingness to be tolerable towards their partner, then divorces would be much less. And let alone the stigma attached to this name, i think divorcees should not be sectioned just because of their past or physical status. **One more thing**, Some divorcees (without kids) who get divorced in few months of their marriage still long to get married to unmarried ones so that they feel young again to experience the joy of a newly married couple.
