Even when things look so incredibly bleak, anxiety raises my low blood pressure off the charts, and I struggle to remember that all things pass in time, there remains a light ahead and hope in my heart. And the light and hope come from caring people around us. Today is no different. Sherman will go into boarding tomorrow, and I worry so much for him. But I just safely placed our stinkball Rusty aka KRusty into a wonderful new WDR Foster Home, chatted with a potential foster/forever person for Judy, then opened my puter to see donations for the Sherminator and our new stinky addition :) Rusty would have just gone on credit and added to the debt (because we COMMITTED to him!) but he now has a sponsor - The Angel Fund, formed by compassionate volunteers of the Carlsbad shelter to support dogs from same. Thanks to their contribution, Rustys immediate vetting needs are now covered! and the Sherminator now has sponsors joining forces with us to help keep a roof over his head while we continue the mad search to find him a warm home to move to.
