Ever wonder what teachers do on a teacher work day? Heres my list: grade repot cards, with comments in every area for every kid. If those get done, here is the rest of the list: write lesson plans, run copies, grade notebooks-60, to be exact-, grade stacks of papers, write letter to insert into report cards, run those off and put into envelopes, write accommodations made for special ed. kids, eat a very sad lunch, just to stay alive, clear desk, tables and various other messy spots, and PACK up what I can in preparation for the renovations going on this summer. I will be lucky to get the first thing done. We need a week of no student days to actually catch up.
