Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and - TopicsExpress

Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to Gods will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 AMP) Someone once said to me, that at church service we can all relate to the message one way or another. Now my question to you, why is that? Maybe because God is trying to speak to you because not everyone gets those times of relation to the message. But there are times that the message has your undivided attention and you see your life in the scripture being spoken. Maybe God is trying to give you instruction to turn your life around because the path your are heading down will not profit you. He sees your struggles and He wants to bless you, but you first must turn away from your sinful ways. God is giving His word (scripture) for training in righteousness in holy living, in conformity to Gods will in thought, purpose, and action for your life. Gods word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The game (sin) in life does not change, only the players change over time. That is why you can still relate to Gods word when it falls on your ears, awakens your spirit, and touches your heart. Now you have the free will to dismiss this moment of connection with God or make a change in your life. God will not give up on you, but will you give Him the opportunity to enter your life?
