Every wondered why every single televised protest in the UK manages to descend into violence? And why thats all the news ever shows? Its easy to discredit an entire movement in a few easy steps: 1) send undercover police into the crowd 2) undercover police provoke violence, agitate the crowd 3) Crowd responds 4) Police charge. 5) let the news report only on the violence, thus reducing public support Time and time again protestors have witnessed people starting trouble, then flashing badges as they cross police barricades. The process is less time consuming and less resources consuming than kettling and other techniques the police use to curb people exercising their right to protest. A great tactic for the ruling elite to manufacture consent. So much for being a free democracy...
