Everyone has Requested that the POST be Strictly about BOLT! WE ONLY SHARE THE UPDATES! **This is from the Lady Pit bull Advocate**.. I just walked in the door after visiting with Kaylee, her family, and ALL of her pups, including Bolt. If Ive learned anything by spending some time with all of them, its that they love their pets. There is a lot of work ahead of us. And honestly, its a little stressful for the family. Many will say to give up the dogs. But I can tell you that thats how much they love them. Willing to do the work to see if it will work. The plan for training is in place. As well as the neuter for all the dogs. I dont feel it necessary to give all of the details at this time. I can say that the truth is Bolt is not outside 24 hours. And he was most certainly a happy pup and looked very healthy. I was also able to crawl into his space he has for shelter during the times he is out there. With the infrared lamp in there it is warm. I was very honest with everyone that I dont believe Bolt should be outside on a chain, however, with what we need to do to get him inside, and keep him with the family that really does love him, the shelter is adequate. HE IS NOT OUTSIDE WHEN ITS TOO COLD. He has a warm quilted jacket to wear as well. Is it the ideal situation. No. Does this family love this dog. Yes. Are they ultimately willing to do what is best for all of the dogs and the family. Yes. But they will do everything they can to make it work first. This is about Bolt.
