Everyone is cordially invited to Sri Yagam at NTR Grounds in Hyderabad from Jan 23 to Feb 1, 2015! One needs to understand the truth and should lead a life that is devoid of pride and pretense, a life that is totally devoted towards the Supreme One. Only then can one attain peace and prosperity. This year the planetary alignments are not looking favorable. As a consequence, rulers and the ruled alike would face several problems and hiccups as prophesied by the panchaanga kartaas. The year doesn’t look conducive especially for 7 out of the 12 raasis (constellations). In order to evade and get around the related ill-effects and to ensure the welfare of everyone Sri Sri Sri Jeeyar Swami Ji, is conducting a splendid “Sri Yagam”, with 33 kundas (fire alters). Every being is associated to one or the other raasi. And there are controlling deities for each of these raasis. These deities are classified into 33 ganaas (categories) as per the Vedas. “Sri Yagam” is targeted to propitiate these 33 groups of deities through the offerings in the 33 holy fires. Let us all take part in this Yagam and appease these deities. They would then bless us by ensuring that the stars have a favorable effect on our lives in the times to come. Our intellect and mind would then in-turn be directed in the right paths. Leaders and public would then all think in appropriate ways that would eventually lead to the good of our mother land.
