Exciting news to share! The fifth annual NYS Animal Advocacy Day will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd in the Well of the Legislative Office Building in Albany. Im also thrilled to announce that Senator Phil Boyle from Suffolk County on Long Island will be the lead Senate sponsor of Animal Advocacy Day. Senator Boyle is a great champion for our animals and has been a part of all four of our past Animal Advocacy Days. He will be the prime sponsor of our bills including the registry bill in the Senate. Senator Sue Serino of the Hudson Valley will be a co-sponsor in the Senate. I am looking forward to working with them and my other colleagues to ensure that New York State is a voice for all members of our family, including those who have no voice: our companion animals. I also want to thank former Senator Greg Ball for his work and wish him the best in his new endeavors. We will be updating with news on Animal Advocacy Day soon.
