FACT semis heats up It will be a repeat of last year’s Fiji fact final when Vodafone Fiji FACT defending champions’ Nadi takes on the Ba football side in the semi-finals on Saturday in Nausori. Ba thumped Labasa 3-nil in its last pool game last night to qualify with the Babasiga Lions from its pool. The other semifinal will be between South Seas Logistics Suva and Labasa. Ba coach Yogen Datt says they had to work hard for a spot in the last four. “We are proud that we have made it to the semifinals after a shaky and scary start on Friday. But we are proud of this achievement and are happy with the performance. They have done what we put up in training over the weekend. Meanwhile Labasa coach Bal Sanju Reddy says the semifinal will be a different ball game.” “With this game against Ba, seven of my key players did not take the field. But I’m still happy because I gave a break to my new boys, but we will iron those things out and with our key players returning, we will have a good time come the semis.” The Ba-Nadi match will kick-off at 3pm, while the Suva-Labasa encounter starts at 5pm. The final will be played at 4pm on Sunday. You can catch the live radio commentaries of these games on rf2 with the voice of soccer Raymond Stoddart. Source : FBC
