FAMOUS MURPHY’S LAW : ANYTHING THAT CAN GO WRONG , WILL GO WRONG . 1. Things are said to have gone wrong , if an unexpected and damaging outcome / situation arises out of a man promoted process 2. Things can go wrong for n-reasons , any input being wrong , any input being missing ,inputs not being in time , inputs not being of the specified magnitude and quality , sequence of process followed not being as specified or required , equipment malfunctioning , persons manning the process not being appropriately motivated . They being not loyal , committed , sincere , dedicated , determined or disciplined . 3. Obviously, anyone of the above element can derail a process leading to failure and getting it wrong . Such possibilities do exist justifying the validity of the above law . 4. Does it mean to be fatalist ? Are we condemned to put up with a situation of total helplessness ? Do we not absolutely have a choice ? 5. Certainly not . Things may go wrong but when and where , with whom , remain open . We can safely add to the above law that , “… provided it is not timely and appropriately prevented .” 6. The ball comes back to our court . We are to play to the best of our ability to defer things getting wrong . We have the intelligence to guess what may go wrong and potential to prevent it through a set of proactive measure . 7. We need to activate this potential , apply the same to defeat the above prediction and continue to live a life of our choice . True , death is inevitable but dying at this moment itself is not certain . We can take and we do take n-measures to continue to live prosperously , gloriously and happily declaring , hell with the above law . We have a choice , we need to exercise it .
