SPREAD THE WORD THEME: Dust WEEKLY TIP: Dust can help tell a story in a photograph (on an old wine bottle, in a cellar etc) or it can diffuse light in a photograph (a backlit car on a dusty road) or it can show light off (light streaming through beam becomes visible with dust). CHALLENGE ENDS: Sunday 6 July 2014 at 23h59 ADDITIONAL NOTE: As we want you all to grow as photographers from this challenge - from now please share your camera settings with each of your weekly submissions. Type of camera, ISO, Mode setting as in auto/manual etc, Aperture, Shutter Speed and White Balance. CAMERA: Remember this is a photographic challenge and a wonderful way to improve your photographic skills. So in order to qualify for the grand prize, all photographs have to be taken on a camera with an interchangeable lens. You are welcome to do post production - although we would like to encourage you to try your best to get your photographs while photographing. NUMBER OF ENTRIES: One entry per person may be submitted each week. THE GRAND PRIZE: An all inclusive 5 day tour as well as three of your best photographs from the challenge showcased on our stand at the 2014 Photo and film expo (applicable for the first challenge only) WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: A photographer whose portfolio reflects an improvement in technical skills and creativity during the 52 week challenge; achieving this by submitting one image per week.
