To our valued members and staff, It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we write to you now. After three and a half years in business and massive investments in both time and capital we are forced to close our doors. Over the past few months we had secured additional financing to initiate needed improvements and to fund ongoing operations. If you’ve been at the club recently, you have no doubt seen these recent changes in additional cardio equipment, spin bikes, lighting, new classes and other improvements. We had even more improvements planned, but learned a few days ago that the investment we had secured had been terminated. Given this unfortunate reality, we do not have the resources to continue operating the club and are forced to close effective immediately. Every business faces challenges, but this abrupt and unexpected reversal of financing is a fatal development. Your Membership Will Be Honored We have arranged for your existing membership with Fitness Compound to be honored by a leading health club in town. The Santa Clarita Athletic Club is an expansive and state-of-the-art facility that caters to Santa Clarita families. In addition to hundreds of classes a month and the latest cardio and strength training equipment, they offer an Olympic sized swimming pool, full child care center and racquetball courts. There are many other features of this dynamic club, so we encourage you to stop in and take a look for yourself. Some of our amazing instructors teach there now and most will likely be teaching there in the future. Words cannot express our disappointment at the recent turn of events that has forced us to take this drastic action after working so hard and achieving so many great results for our members over the last few years.
