FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CLEVELAND, OH —On August 10, Esperanza is holding a back-to-school celebration and school supply giveaway in partnership with Molina Healthcare. The celebration will be held in the parking lot of Esperanza, 3104 W. 25th St., Cleveland, Ohio starting at 10am. One thousand book bags filled with school supplies will be given away to students on a first-come first-served basis. To receive a book bag full of supplies, students must be present with their parents or parents can bring their child’s report card from the previous academic year. During the event there will be music and games, youth dance groups and health screenings. Representatives from the following organizations will be hosting activities and providing information: Latina Outreach Project, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Cleveland Public Library, Metrohealth, Community Network Weaver, Family Neighborhood Practice, PNC Bank, Head Start, Molina Health Care, Cleveland Clinic, PLANEO, The Centers, Mi Casita, Home Depot, Lutheran, European Heat Pump Association, Cuyahoga Families Services, ID for Kids, Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, Constellation Schools, and Convención Hispana.
