FOR SALE: Boreal Triglav Vibram B2 Boots. Used for 5 days while crossing Minkiani Pass last year. The last 2 of the these 5 days were spent in absolute agony since I had sized these boots too small, which is the reason for selling. Size and Fit: These boots will fit you comfortably if your feet measure between 277-286 mm and are of narrow to medium width. It might be possible to go a couple of mm further on either side depending on the socks you use. Try before you buy. Best Application: As a high altitude trekking and scrambling boot. They are excellent on rock and are quite stable on small edges. I have also tried fitting crampons with a heel clip on them and they seat very securely (Toe Baskets required). However since its not a stiff soled boot you can front point on them for only very short periods of time. But this is compensated by being very comfortable for walking.If you want a boot for Himalayan passes and easy peaks which involve long walks in and out, crossing the occasional snow/ ice patch with crampons and moving quite a bit on rock they will suit you fine. How Much: 12000 INR or a pair of BRAND NEW Grivel G12 Newmatic (Heel Clip and Toe Baskets) Crampons. If you have contacts abroad you can get these crampons for as less as 9000 INR, so it is in your interest to get a good deal on these crampons (Brand New Only mind you) and save money ;-)
