FOX CREEK FARM RPSI INSPECTION RESULTS Yesterday we held our annual Mare and Foal Inspection for the Rheinland Pfalz-Saar, International. It was just a great day! The weather was perfect, and we had several visitors come to watch. We also held the first ever RPSI Mare Performance Test in the United States. What a fantastic experience. Im really looking forward to the opportunity to do this again. We started the day off with the Mare Performance Test. We presented two pony mares. Both mares completed the test in accordance with the German testing and rules. TWO judges are required for the Mare Performance Test and we were fortunate to have Jana Wagner, from Kansas City make the drive out to the farm to take the position of the second judge. The test began with the conformation evaluation and then the free jumping. Following the free jumping the mares were presented under saddle. During the under saddle the judges asked to see the mares perform lenthenings and shortenings, etc. Following the MPT, we presented the mares and foals. First to be presented was a 2 year old filly who I had not presented as a foal because she was born very, very late in the summer, and then I did not present her as a yearling. So, she was presented, received papers and her brand (she did not receive scores because only foals are scored). The judge loved, loved the filly (Halifax X Belize (Olympic Ferro / Fleming). After the 2 year old filly was presented we presented the foals and Im extremely proud of the results. Out of 16 foals presented there were 11 GOLD Premium and 5 SILVER Premium foals. Also, an interesting statistic: ALL of the dressage bred foals went GOLD Premium, every hunter bred foal with the exception of 1 went SILVER Premium. So, here are the results and scores of the Fox Creek Farm 2014 RPSI Inspection:
