FQ: Hi there, would you mind posting this? I need some comforting words or advice. I start my second semester of teachers college next month, and unfortunately my schedule is so full and horribly spaced that I need to move closer to the school which is about an hour and a half from where were living now. My husbands job is here and almost my entire family is in this area (they babysit) so we cant afford to move. I have a friend whos going to let me stay in her house for the 10 weeks that Ill be there, but Ill be there 5 days a week. Id come home after class Friday nights, and leave again Monday morning. Thats ten weeks that Id only see my son a couple days a week (hes one-and-a-half). Has anyone else had to deal with being separated from their children for a long period of time? How did you deal with it? I dont know if Im going to be able to handle being away from him that long even with Skype. Were so close now and I dont want to lose that.
