FRIDAY EARLY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE The greatest potential for rain will come in the next 12 hours as an upper level storm system approaches and passes through the region. We are starting the day with clouds, plenty of rain and temperatures in the 50s. An upper level system will pass through the region keeping rain chances high. North and northeast winds will work to keep temperatures in the 50s by mid-morning. Clouds will hold through the morning as the strongest part of the upper storm moves into Northeastern Texas. Lunch hour temperatures will hold in the 50s. Slightly drier air will begin to move into the region during the afternoon. Rain chances will begin to decrease as the upper storm pulls further east. Peak afternoon temperatures will be near 60. Rain chances will continue to drop out as skies begin to break. Long term, the weekend will start out with low clouds and fog. Skies will clear as the weather pattern will dries out and warms up. Another upper level system will dive southward out of the Rockies and begin to impact the area late Saturday afternoon. Look for clouds to return for Sunday. The next cold front will arrive on Tuesday.
