FROM THE NEWSROOM: BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Bristol police have arrested a 13-year-old student in connection with one in a string of bomb threats received at city schools. School officials say the student, whose name has not been released, is charged in connection with a threat Wednesday at the Chippens Hill Middle School. The threat was one of six police have investigated in recent days, including three on Wednesday. In addition to the phone threat at the middle school, police say threatening letters were found at St. Paul Catholic High School and the Stafford School. A threat was made Tuesday against Northeast Middle School and threats were reported last week at Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central High School. Police say they do not believe one person is responsible for the threats.
