FROM THE NEWSROOM: ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Enfield police are investigating the shooting death of a 19-year-old man outside a home. Officers responded to the shooting at about 9 p.m. Wednesday and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was later pronounced dead at Baystate Medical Center in nearby Springfield, Massachusetts. Authorities havent released the mans name. No arrests have been announced. Police say officers stopped a stolen car possibly connected to the shooting at a gas station in Windsor near the Hartford line. WFSB-TV reports that police took two juveniles into custody, but its not clear if they are suspects in the killing. Police say they found a gun in the car. State police are helping Enfield police with the investigation.
