Face Book does not Pay a Penny for my Posts The moment a quote - TopicsExpress

Face Book does not Pay a Penny for my Posts The moment a quote is posted by a Sage, Monk, Poet, Writer, or a famous person the author loses exclusive rights to the post and its meaning. The wisdom or idea should be a source of inspiration to others, who are free to relate it with a larger body of heterogeneous interpretation. It is no longer of any use or relevant to the person who penned the thoughts in the first place. In that sense anyone copying the significance of the quote cannot be accused of plagiarism. It is more a declaration of appreciation to be disseminated to all and sundry. Wisdom quotes are not meant to lie in space and vegetate, but must inspire and motivate the free flow of ideas and help explore new concepts to those who have an open mind. For a poet, artist, or writer plagiarism is excusable and sometimes lying essential according to Shakespeare. Wisdom, like spirituality, can be lurking anywhere; we must learn to look for them. Thoughts do not belong to anyone. An intelligent author will always welcome the idea of heterogeneity of multiple interpretations – some which may have greater beauty and erudition than the original quote. –Vinay-
