Face of Thailand The preliminary rounds of the 2014 Asia New Star Model Contest have been held in Bangkok, Thailand in search of fresh new faces representing the country. This year, over a thousand people throughout the country, each with its own distinct traits, partook in the competition. In particular, last year′s Face of Thailand Bow Jitreengam′s win at the 2013 Asia New Star Model contest put the contest into the spotlight. This year′s contestants, too, have outlasted fierce competitions to be the new Face of Thailand. Out of the thirty contestants who made it through two preliminary rounds, only 6 will get the chance to represent their country at the 2014 Asia New Star Model Contest. The contestants showed off their pro-like, powerful walking techniques and their individual talents on the runway. In the final round, the winner will be selected through a strictly impartial judging process and the criteria include postures, confident facial expressions, the ability to bring out the best of clothes and so on. Each contestant is armed with his or her own unique traits and talents. Then, the only question remain is, which models will become the Face of Thailand and make it to the final round in Seoul? 페이스 오브 태국 태국을 대표하는 모델을 뽑는 2014 아시아 뉴스타 모델 선발대회가 태국 방콕에서 성황리에 열렸다. 이번 대회에서는 태국 각지에서 다양한 개성을 뽐내는 1천명의 지원자가 몰려 눈길을 끌었다. 특히 지난해 태국 대표 Bow jitreengam이 아시아 뉴스타 모델 선발대회 여자 모델 부문 대상을 수상한 후로 태국에서 아시아 뉴스타 모델 선발대회는 나날이 큰 인기를 얻고 있다. 참가자들 역시 태국의 새로운 대표가 되기 위해 누구보다 치열한 경쟁을 벌였다. 까다로운 두 번의 예선을 통과한 30명의 지원자들은 본선을 거쳐 선발된 단 여섯 명만이 서울에서 열리는 2014 아시아 뉴스타 모델 선발대회에 출전할 수 있는 최종 결선 티켓을 거머쥘 수 있다. 참가자들은 런웨이에서의 파워 넘치는 워킹을 통해 자신의 실력과 매력을 한껏 뽐냈다. 본선 대회에서는 올바른 워킹 자세와 더불어 자신감 넘치는 표정, 의상에 대한 표현력 등 여러 방면의 심사를 거쳐 최종 우승자를 가리게 된다. 뛰어난 실력으로 우열을 가리기 힘든 참가자들. 그 가운데 과연 태국의 얼굴이 되어 한국 결선 무대로 향할 주인공은 누가 될 것인가?
